We believe by creating a safe and warm atmosphere, people can dive deeper into the experience to achieve further personal growth. We often hear that we don’t feel like a typical event location – which we are actually very proud of. Instead, guests tend to praise us for our relaxed atmosphere, personal service, and delicious homemade food.
Tranquility and nature
We often talk about ourselves as “a sanctuary for the soul,” precisely because our place is surrounded by tranquility and beautiful nature. It is the perfect setting if you want a break from everyday life and get some personal space for developing your character and skills. We are located 3 km. from the town of Maribo. Nearby you will find forests, beaches, and the popular Knuthenborg Safari Park. At the same time, we are easily accessible from “Syd-motorvejen” or by train via Nykøbing Falster.
The workshop building
Inspiration Center’s workshop building was built in 1996, at that time for the Maribo High School and is 250 square meters in total. It houses a beautiful hall, around 100 square meters. The hall is used for a variety of events. It is often used for physical exercise, for example, yoga, and we can provide some basic equipment. It is also popular for courses, seminars, and workshops, which often focus on mental health and well-being. Finally, we have organizations, municipalities, and companies who use the hall for various staff events and meetings. Here there is also a smaller meeting room, around 40 square meters, ideal for lectures or group work, and a gym.

We at Inspiration Center have 15 years of experience in hosting large as well as smaller groups for their courses, meetings, and retreats. The main building is 1.200 square meters a features 25 cozy bedrooms – each with its’ own personal charm. There you will find a dining room and 2 living rooms for your group to spend some time together or “hygge”. We also offer guests to rent a 2-bedroom apartment if they wish. We have our own large, professional kitchen where our chefs do their magic.
